After an announcement video that made you wonder what the stories were and a teaser that made you hungry for more, Netflix has finally released the trailer of Ghost Stories, unveiling 4 spine-chilling stories of invisible ghosts and terrifying monsters.

Ghost Stories has been the talk of the town ever since the Lust Stories directors announced they’ll be making another project for Netflix together once again. The trailer gives a peek into each director’s story- every single one more absurd and complexly horrifying as the other.

Karan Johar’s story is about a happy wedding followed by a perplexing wedding night for the bride- the couple is interrupted by the groom’s granny, but the problem is the bride can’t see her while her husband is merrily chatting away.

Zoya Akhtar introduces a nurse taking care of an ailing old woman at her haunted home, while Anurag Kashyap’s story is about a kid who is plagued by his aunt being pregnant and him getting neglected in favour of the new baby.

Dibakar Banerjee’s gives an apocalyptic-like world where the kids seem to be guide and expert of the evil lurking around them.

Starring Mrunal Thakur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jhanvi Kapoor, and Gulshan Devaiah, among others, Ghost Stories is releasing on Netflix on 1st January 2020.
