T-Series To Overthrow PewDiePie To Become The Most Subscribed Channel
One of the leading music labels in India, T-Series is set to become the most subscribed channel on YouTube soon, overtaking the Swedish YouTuber Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie, who has 72 million subscribers. T-Series currently has 71 million subscribers.
A film production and music major, T-Series has content channels for over 29 languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Telugu, Haryanvi, Marathi and various others, revolving around Bollywood music, pop, classic, devotional, fitness videos and cartoons. Already being one of the most viewed channels, T-Series gets its viewership from not only India, but also from India diaspora across the world. “We’re very excited, for the organisation and for India.
An Indian channel becoming number one is a big compliment for the entire country. It will give us recognition all over the globe,” said T-Series chairman Bhushan Kumar, according to a source. In the quest of global recognition, T-Series has recently collaborated Guru Randhawa and Pitbull together for the new single ‘Slowly Slowly’.
PewDiePie has been in and out of controversy due to his contradictory content frequently. In light of T-Series’ success, he even released a diss track for T-Series.
