“17 bahin-bhau gharat ase firat asto ithe tithe, asa vatata Marathi big boss chaluye.”
- Viewers are in for a pleasant surprise in this stand-up, a rare occurrence in a comic scene. Mac starts the piece by pretending to be a Nepali guy in India, and the portrayal is so believable- the broken English with a slight accent, even his face helps- that when he switches to Marathi, you can’t help but be astonished.
- After the first hilarious shock, Mac goes on to talk about his absurdly big family (17 siblings), Maharashtrian sex education In school and parents when we ask them anything about it. The comical representation is too relatable and cracks you up.
- Mac’s poker face throughout the stand-up and the strategic pauses, somehow makes all his puns all the more funny.
- There’s nothing wrong that should stop you from giving it a watch.
The Final Verdict:
Definitely worth a watch for a stand-up with twist, a pleasantly rare thing in comic pieces.
