Yay!

  • The concept of a guy trying to find his footing in the big city jungle, is something we have seen a lot but portrays it into in such a refreshingly simplistic way.
  • The dramedy is right in the middle, it’s not too extreme or too droll. You enjoy it, even relate to the characters- the evil boss, that one girl you like and the other who is an incentive to come to the office, the lazy yet smart friend- it’s fun, no strings attached.
  • The game of subtlety is strong in this one. From sexual innuendos, covering topics such as LGBTQ and prostitution to poking fun at their own script and at others- the not so direct nudge makes you smile and admire the refreshing method.
  • Every actor has done their characters well but Sanket Shanware as Buddy is an absolute delight in the whole 10-episode series- the level-headed, chill smartass who knows everything.
  • The short-format series is the definition of ‘short but sweet’.
  • Extra points for using amazing background music at apt times.

Nay!

  • There is nothing unfulfilling with this Quickie.

Bottom Line:

A funny tale of friendship, love, and office, Tum Se Na Ho Paayega is definitely worth a watch. Might even work as a stress buster.

Trivia:

  • Karl Katgara is the Creative Director at Culture Machine, which has also co-produced the series.
  • Tum Se Na Ho Paayega is the 4th fast series in the Eros Now Quickie section, the other being Date Gone Wrong, Paisa Fekh Tamasha Dekh and The Investigation.

Karl Katgara has not co produced the series. He is a director on hire. Kindly correct your article.

We meant Culture Machine being the co-producer, not Karl Katgara. We have corrected the sentence structure though, thanks for bringing it to notice.
